The unsung heroes of the breakfast world, bagels don't always get the attention they deserve. But Feb. 9, National Bagel Day, is their moment in the sun (and the toaster).

They’re not just a convenient bite for commuters in a rush. Served as part of a sandwich or pizza, bagels can easily carry lunch or dinner. National Bagel Day is a chance to broaden your horizons at one of Phoenix’s bagel bakeries.

Hoodline crunched the numbers, using both Yelp data and our own methodology to produce a ranked list of the top bagel shops around.

1. The Bagel Man

Topping the list is The Bagel Man. Located at 5035 E. Elliot Road in Ahwatukee Foothills, the deli, breakfast and brunch spot, which offers bagels and more, is the highest rated bagel spot in Phoenix, boasting 4.5 stars out of 538 reviews on Yelp.

2. Cabin Coffee Cafe

Next up is Deer Valley's Cabin Coffee Cafe, situated at 6525 W. Happy Valley Road. With 4.5 stars out of 192 reviews on Yelp, the breakfast and brunch spot, which offers coffee and tea and bagels, has proven to be a local favorite.

3. Odelay Bagel

Odelay Bagel, a cafe that offers bagels and more in Ahwatukee Foothills, is another much-loved go-to, with 4.5 stars out of 116 Yelp reviews. Head over to 12020 S. Warner to see for yourself.

4. The Nosh Cafe

Last but not least, over in Ahwatukee Foothills, check out The Nosh Cafe, which has earned four stars out of 305 reviews on Yelp. You can find the breakfast and brunch spot, which offers bagels and sandwiches, at 4855 E. Warner Road, Suite 12.
