After nearly 40 years on Tempe’s music map, owner Michael Pawlicki retired and The Ghost of Eastside Records closed June 30. A local buyer is expected to take over the Southern Avenue space.

Phoenix Art Museum will present "Kim Chong Hak, Painter of Seoraksan" Sept. 9, 2026–Feb. 21, 2027, a touring survey from Atlanta’s High featuring 70+ works in the Steele Gallery.
