100th Opening Day Parade Party

Attention all baseball fans, this is the 100th annual Parade Party to celebrate Opening Day for the Cincinnati Reds. Participants can pick up their celebratory gear at Findlay Market before the parade or simply show up at Bockfest Hall that evening to join their fellow fans in heralding a new Reds baseball season.

Jollof-Off!

Umu Igbo Unite (UIU) Cincy hosts this event in which attendees can bring or simply come to sample delicious jollof rice. With its origins in Senegal, jollof rice has many variations depending on the African country from which it comes. Jollof Off also benefits a great cause, the UIU Cincy Cares Sickle Cell Awareness Initiative, which seeks to provide a better quality of life for those people living with sick cell anemia. A 2019 Jollof Rice Champion will be crowned among the participants.
