A $25M federal award will fund design and early work on a 1.2‑acre cap and plaza over Fort Washington Way between Vine and Walnut, officials say. Local matching funds are still required.
The OPWC released $392.8M in project agreements for 678 projects across 87 counties, funding roads, water, wastewater, bridges and stormwater improvements.
Trustees approved a $10-per-vehicle increase to license fees to shore up road funding; collections start Jan. 1, 2027 and proceeds are earmarked for paving and stormwater work.
