Julep, domestic shorthair

Julep is a lovable female domestic shorthair cat staying at Mutt Misfits Society.

Julepis happy to keep company with dogs and cats. She is already spayed, and she has all her shots. She's mastered her house-training etiquette. Julep is a special needs pet, so please inquire about her specific care requirements.

More on Julep:

Julep is almost one year old, and she has cerebellar hypoplasia, which means her cerebellum didn’t fully develop in utero. So she falls down a lot and is pretty clumsy, but it causes her no pain and she doesn’t even know she’s different! With this comes some limitations.

Jamie, domestic shorthair mix

Jamie is a winsome female domestic shorthair mix in the care of Pet Adoption and Welfare Services of OK (PAWS-OK). Jamie gets along well with other cats. Jamie would prefer a home without small children. She's mastered her house-training etiquette. She's spayed, and she has all her shots.

More on Jaime.

Jamie was rescued from the street in 2017 and surrendered to PAWS. She is very shy and needs an experienced owner and possibly another cat to keep her company. She was adopted to a single young man who had never had a cat before and couldn't get her comfortable in his apartment. She needs an owner who can spend lots of time with her because Jamie's favorite game is hide and seek (although when the food bell rings she is right on it!) so she needs a quiet home without children and a good buddy cat friend!

Joey, domestic shorthair and Siamese mix

Joey is a darling male domestic shorthair and Siamese mix currently residing at Pet Adoption and Welfare Services of OK (PAWS-OK).

Joey loves being around people. He will do great in a home with kids! Fear not: He has already house-trained. His vaccinations are already up to date, and he is neutered.

More on Joey:

Joey was adopted as a kitten in 2016 as a companion for a young boy. When the boy moved to the east coast for school, Joey's mom didn't feel like she could give him the attention he needed and returned him to PAWS. He was a very shy little guy as a kitten and hasn't changed a whole lot in the last 2 years. He needs a very quiet home and an owner with a big lap! He is a very large boy and is very sweet once he has had some time to adjust to his new environment.

Patches, domestic shorthair and calico mix

Patches is a female domestic shorthair and calico mix currently residing at Pet Adoption and Welfare Services of OK (PAWS-OK).

Patches plays well with others — she loves other cats. She is spayed and vaccinated. She's mastered her house-training etiquette.

More on Patches:

Patches was adopted out as a kitten with her two sisters in 2011 and then returned a few months back when her parents were divorced. She is an older gal who is looking for a quiet home. She has lived with kids and other cats but prefers adults over others. Princess's was very sick when we got her back into PAWS-OK with a fungus that has now cleared. It was not contagious - her sister never caught it. Since we never really determined exactly what it was her new owner needs to watch her carefully. She has been free of it since September 2018. She likes to be brushed but isn't a fan of noisy places or getting her nails clipped.

Sophie is a beautiful, medium sized two-year old spayed female who is looking for a great new home. She is social and has interacted with well behaved kids well in the past. She likes to talk to you, especially at feeding time.

Carley, domestic shorthair mix

Carley is a winsome female domestic shorthair mix staying at Pet Adoption and Welfare Services of OK (PAWS-OK).

Carley will do best with an owner who has time to bond with her. She'll need a home free of other cats and dogs. She is sweet with small children. She already has all of her shots, and she is spayed. She is already house-trained.

More about Carley:

Carley was originally owner surrendered to PAWS, as an adult cat in 2009. She was adopted in 2010 to a nice family as their daughters eleventh birthday present. She had always wanted a cat and Carley loved her as soon as she laid eyes on her. However, late in 2012 they returned her stating that Carley had never really liked their son much and their daughter wasn’t as interested in her any more. In 2013 she again found a great home with an older couple where she lived for 5 years. Her “dad” and absolute BFF had passed away in late 2016 and her “mom” who never cared for her much from the beginning was cleaning out and decided the cat had to go too. She admitted that she had let Carley outside “to sit on the porch” on numerous occasions and so we re-tested her. Carley’s test came back positive for FIV (she was negative before). Carley will keep to herself around strangers and enjoys her quiet time but will have spurts of “kitten-like” energy when something catches her fancy. She loves to be brushed and lay on a comfortable bed or in front of a window or door where she can watch the day go by.

Reaper, domestic shorthair mix

Reaper is a male domestic shorthair mix staying at Pet Adoption and Welfare Services of OK (PAWS-OK). Reaper's ideal forever home would be a cat-free environment. He is neutered and vaccinated. Have no fear: He has already house-trained.

More on Reaper:

Reaper was surrendered to PAWS in September 2014 with a serious skin issue around his neck. He had been a stray in this condition and unwilling to approach the lady who was feeding him. Finally after a number of months she was able to get her hands on him and called PAWS immediately for help. As you can see from the pictures (sorry they are so graphic) it has taken a while to get the skin around his neck to grow back and heal. His slow recovery is most likely due to his FIV+ status. Reaper is now available for adoption! He is a very sweet boy now and would make a fine indoor only cat for some special family. A sunny window and a couple of plush beds are all that is needed to keep him happy.

Apply to adopt Reaper today at Petfinder.
