Looking to chow down on some Japanese fare? A new spot has you covered. The new addition, called Ebisu Japanese Restaurant, is located at 13376 N. Highway 183, Suite 400. It's the first Texas location for executive chef Jay Chung and Joo Chung, who also run Japanese restaurants in California. 

Ebisu Japanese Restaurant specializes in high-grade Wagyu beef, nigiri and sushi/sashimi.

On the menu, expect to see items like the the golden California roll wrapped with salmon and tempura in an eel sauce and the spicy pork bulgogi platter with miso soup, rice and marinated beer served over vegetables. Japanese whiskey, beer, cocktails and sake are also on offer. 

Ebisu Japanese Restaurant has already attracted fans thus far, with a five-star rating out of 10 reviews on Yelp.

Nicole C., who reviewed the new spot on Aug. 26, wrote, "Awesome experience. As a sushi enthusiast, I had high expectations coming in and it ended up being nothing short of exceptional! Loved the lychee coconut mojito!"
