A new brewpub has opened its doors in the neighborhood. The fresh arrival to the West End, called Best End Brewing Company, is located at 1036 White St. SW.

This recently opened establishment is still refining its menus. The early list of beer selections included Slippers (American rye pale ale), Slabtown Pils (Czech pilsner), Man of War (Vienna lager) and more. Mussels, clams and oysters were all available on this spot's sample menu

With 4.5 stars out of eight reviews on Yelp so far, the newcomer is getting solid feedback from clientele.

Peter T. wrote, "This is a great space! The food was delicious. We went light and had a meat and cheese plate along with some squid and octopus."

With 2.5 stars from five reviews on Yelp, the fresh arrival is off to a slow start but it's still early days.
