If you're after sandwiches, look no further than this new business. The fresh arrival to Downtown, called Jim’s Good Food, is located at 1420 16th St.

According to the business's Facebook page, "Jim's Good Food is a new breed of American diner. A casual, comfortable place serving delicious food done with care, without the fuss."

On the menu, you'll find fried green tomatoes, poutine, salads, burgers, spaghetti, fried chicken, oysters and more.

Jim’s Good Food has garnered rave reviews thus far, with a five-star rating out of nine reviews on Yelp.

John C, who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on Feb. 17, wrote, "Loved this place! I wondered if the food would live up to the 'good eats' and did it ever. My wife had the burger and it was amazing. I had a perfect steak and we paired both with a wine from the surprisingly deep wine list."

And James R. wrote, "I have been waiting and waiting for this place for a while. The decor is in the style of a new American diner. Nice cozy feel. The burger is a smash patty, American cheese and a garlic butter toasted bun. It's not hiding behind fancy spreads, bacon, or garnish. It's a purist's cheeseburger."

Head on over to check it out: Jim’s Good Food is open from 5 a.m.–9 p.m. on Monday-Thursday and 5 a.m.–10 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. (It's closed on Sunday.)
