The city's streets will witness a parade of street sweepers and washers crisscrossing the boroughs on a weekly basis, but there's a catch for residents. The circling fleet of sweepers knows no friends, as even vehicles sporting residential parking permits are not immune to the ticketing blitz.

State law graciously spares properly marked vehicles huddled in approved handicapped spaces from the moving mandate, ensuring those with disabilities are not penalized for street sanitation.
