"Yellowstone" star Forrie J. Smith reportedly booted off a plane for balking at the prospect of sitting next to a mask-wearing passenger, took to social media to vent his dismay. Not shy to air out his grievances, Smith shared a video on his Instagram—a move that quickly became as divisive as his views on masks, The Houston Chronicle reports.

Adding buzz to the whiskey, Smith admitted to drinking at the airport for three hours, adamantly declaring, “Yeah, I’ve been drinking — I’ve been sitting in the airport for three hours, yeah I’m drinking — but I ain’t drunk,” as if to pre-empt the suspicion that the alcohol might have been the root reason for his exit from the aircraft. His Instagram video further captured him saying, “I just told them I didn’t feel comfortable sitting next to somebody that had to wear a mask, and I’m off the plane.”

Comments poured in like ever-flowing skepticism on Smith's Instagram feed, with one user noting, "So drunk you don't even know where you are? I don't know man, maybe it's time to travel in your own private jet if you have a phobia of masks," indicating a sentiment that sowed doubt about the actor's given rationale. While the airline involved remained unnamed, the incident sits tightly within a narrative that Smith has cultivated over time. Last year, the doors to the Screen Actors Guild Awards remained closed to him due to his unvaccinated status. "I'm not vaccinated, I will not get vaccinated. I haven't been vaccinated since I was a little kid. I don't vaccinate my dogs, I don't vaccinate my horses. I've never had a flu shot. I never will. I believe they compromise your immunities…It's just my beliefs. I just don't believe in that stuff. Whatever." Smith divulged in a since-deleted Instagram video.
