A suspected inebriated motorist caused a traffic collision this past Sunday and has been booked, according to Constable Mark Herman's Office. The crash occurred in the 21700 block of Aldine Westfield Road. Deputies arrived at the scene to find the at-fault driver, Eugene Reyes, exhibiting signs of intoxication. After conducting Standardized Field Sobriety Tests, it was confirmed that Reyes was indeed under the influence.

Investigations further revealed a concerning pattern; Reyes was on bond for a prior charge of Driving While Intoxicated and Possession of a Controlled Substance. The constable's office reported that "Eugene Reyes was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, charged with Driving While Intoxicated. His bond was set at $10,000.00 out of County Court 13," as noted in a post update from the constable's official Facebook account.

This is not Reyes' first run-in with the law, as his record indicates a disregard for the legal limits imposed on operating a vehicle. The latest charges pile onto an individual whose freedoms were already under strict surveillance due to previous offenses.
