An Atlanta man has been cuffed for an armed robbery at a Wendy's in Acworth, Georgia, cops say. The suspect, who carried out the heist at the burger joint located at 3550 Baker Road on May 19, was nabbed in Jeffersonville, Indiana, after allegedly pulling off another armed job. The Acworth Police Department identified the alleged bad guy as 23-year-old Paul Richardson.

Wearing a mask and wielding a weapon, Richardson allegedly demanded cash before fleeing in a stolen red pickup truck in an attempt to expedite fast food. He escaped with an undisclosed amount of money, according to police. The vehicle was later discovered in Indiana, as reported by FOX 5 Atlanta. While still being pursued, Indiana police arrested him after he reportedly committed a second armed robbery.

The Acworth PD's Criminal Investigations Division, utilizing leads coupled with the use of FLOCK cameras, determined that the stolen vehicle matched one reported missing by the Atlanta Police Department. The discovery of the truck in Jeffersonville was the first clue leading to Richardson's doorstep. Acworth's finest have now charged Richardson with a variety of offenses, including armed robbery, two counts of aggravated assault, and two counts of false imprisonment, as reported by Atlanta News First.

Hoosier State cops have Richardson cooling his heels in the jug, awaiting extradition back to Cobb County to face the music for his alleged Georgia shenanigans. While the legal eagles prepare to fly him back, Acworth Police are urging anyone with pertinent information to come forward and speak up.
