Disaster struck on the far west side of San Antonio yesterday, as a mobile home was devoured by flames, leading to its partial collapse, according to Bexar County Sheriff's Office. The blaze, which tore through the 13607 block of Elm Forest, was reported to emergency services around 1 p.m., with concerned citizens fearing someone might have been trapped inside the inferno.

Upon arrival at the scene, deputies faced a mobile home fully engulfed by the fire they fought to knock out the blaze eventually they discovered that, thankfully, no victims were found amidst the charred remains. The status of the mobile home's owner remains unknown at this time, but fire officials are hopeful that there were no injuries resulting from the incident, as reported by KENS 5.

The authorities have yet to release any details on what may have sparked the fire, which has now sparked an ongoing investigation into the cause and potential hazards that preceded the event.
