Police are on the lookout for an individual connected to a commercial robbery spree hitting Verizon stores in the 5th District, consistently deploying the threat of gun violence to carry out the crimes. According to the Philadelphia Police Department, the suspect made his move on a Verizon store along Ridge Ave this past Tuesday, at 6:45 PM.

The incident, captured on surrounding security footage, reveals, a black male suspect arriving in a black Honda Accord. Witnesses report that the male suspect, after entering the store, intimidated the staff with the threat of a firearm, swiftly taking off with an undisclosed sum of money. The same suspect is believed to have committed a similar heist only an hour later in Upper Moreland Township, adopting the same method, and with the same getaway vehicle.

The Philadelphia Police Department has released the suspect's description: a black male of slender build, donning a light blue hoodie, gray sweatpants, black biker gloves, and a mask. The car is described as a newer model Black Honda Accord, with a distinctive partially covered paper tag. The hunt for the perpetrator has intensified as local businesses and residents are put on high alert.

Authorities urge anyone with information to come forward and contribute to the search for the suspect. The PPD asserts the safety of the community hinges on swift action and close cooperation.
