Alameda and Hayward Suspects Arrested in Joint Operation by Police and US MarshalsSource: Google Street View

The Alameda Police Department recently conducted multiple arrests during a continuing investigation into a robbery that occurred earlier this month. This event unfolded on June 8 when a victim pursued a suspect alleged to have been removing items from their car along the 1300 block of Marina Village Parkway. During the victim's attempt to reclaim their possessions, they were assaulted by a second perpetrator, who managed to escape with the stolen goods.

Within the scope of their investigation, Alameda PD detectives worked alongside the US Marshals Service Fugitive Task Force and were further assisted by APD members during the execution of arrest and search warrants on June 18. The collaboration took place at the alleged suspects' residence in the City of Hayward, where an Uncrewed Aerial System provided by the Alameda County Sheriff's Office played a supporting role. Subsequently, the task force successfully located both suspects linked to the robbery and apprehended one. According to the Alameda Police Department, it's confirmed that the case is now with the Alameda County District Attorney’s Office for further proceedings.

However, the arrests didn't end there. While executing the aforementioned warrants, officers discovered two additional individuals at the residence. One of these individuals faced arrest due to outstanding warrants related to a case in Alameda from 2023 and an Oakland case dated 2022. The other, a convicted felon, was taken into custody for possession of narcotics and a firearm.
