A suspected felon is at the center of a manhunt following a violent road rage altercation at Los Angeles International Airport that resulted in an elderly woman being left unconscious. The incident, which took place on May 31, involved two men whose fistfight escalated onto the sidewalk where the victim was inadvertently struck in the head. This event occurred at approximately 9:25 a.m., according to LAPD's Newsroom.

Caught by surveillance cameras, the disturbing footage displays the moment when an elderly passenger, amidst checking her luggage, became the unintended casualty of the scuffle. Struck by the pair who, stemming from a road dispute, moved violently towards her vehicle, the force of the impact rendered her unconscious, as the KTLA report detailed. After the incident, she was taken to the hospital in a critical state but was subsequently released.

Authorities have apprehended one of the individuals involved, a man who surrendered himself post the incident. Their efforts now concentrate on locating Jasan Givens Sr., the other suspect, who is associated with a silver Chevrolet sedan donning visible damage to the front passenger door; its license plate reads 5UAL384. Pacific Division detectives urge anyone with information to come forward.

"The most shocking thing, and the reason we're asking for the public’s help, is after this happened, both the individuals failed to render aid," LAPD Det. Scott Danielson explained, as per KTLA. Mentioning the gravity and the personal connection many could feel, he added, "Our victim here could be your mother or your grandmother."
