Last night, the California Highway Patrol reported a tragic incident on River Road near Martinelli Road in Santa Rosa. At approximately 10:08 pm, a devastating head-on collision between a Toyota Sienna and a Chevrolet Sonic claimed the life of one individual and injured others. The Toyota was headed eastbound while the Chevrolet was going westbound when the accident occurred, raising questions about the cause of this unfortunate event.

The immediate response by CHP personnel and medical teams provided critical assistance to the victims. All those involved were promptly transported to the hospital for treatment. Tragically, despite efforts to save her life, the driver of the Toyota Sienna was pronounced deceased while en route to the hospital. As for now, details about the deceased can be directed to the Sonoma County Sheriff Coroner’s office.
