Memphis Police Department officials are intensifying their search for three teen suspects in a recent homicide that took place on Macon Road near Gaisman Park. Following a shooting incident on Monday, just after 9 p.m., one man was found with a gunshot injury and was subsequently rushed to Regional One Hospital, where he died from his wounds, Local Memphis reported.

According to unpublished data, police responded to the scene in front of Gaisman Park on Macon Road and are currently seeking three suspects, believed to be between the ages of 17 and 19. The circumstances leading to the shooting remain unclear. Investigators are hoping that surveillance footage will aid in identifying the suspects involved in the crime.

FOX13 Memphis released a video showing the moment of the shooting, where a vehicle abruptly stops before a gunshot is heard. Afterward, individuals are seen exiting a white car that had made a left-hand turn, fleeing the scene as the car rolls backward.

A somber reflection on the routine of violence in the area came from resident Michael Young, "There's shootings around here every day. Gunshots and sirens put me to sleep. That's my lullaby,” he told FOX13 Memphis. The suspects are described as young men, around 17-19 years old, wearing all-black clothing, and were last seen in a silver or tan car. No arrests have been made, the search continues, and anyone with information about the incident is urged to call Crime Stoppers at (901) 528-CASH.
