Goner Records revealed the first wave of acts for Gonerfest 23 — Toody Cole and Man or Astro-man? headline a global bill Sept. 24–27 at Wiseacre and the Overton Park Shell.

Live Nation will open Satellite Music Hall at Crosstown this fall — a purpose-built, 1,300-capacity room that promoters say will add roughly 100 shows a year and new jobs. The venue also includes a partnership with Stax Music Academy.

Wu-Tang's C.R.E.A.M. pop-up lands at Comeback Coffee May 1–3 with DJs, local vendors and free community programming in the Pinch District.
