Early morning chaos erupted in Sonoma County when Dallas Brodov, aged 36, from Petaluma, allegedly decided to go on a property vandalizing spree, which earned him a quick trip to the county jail. The Sonoma Sheriff's Office reported that just after 5:30 a.m. on Sunday, deputies responded to a call on Live Oak Drive about a trespasser who had made his way into a barn and was later seen harassing cattle.

The deputies encountered a shirtless Brodov fleeing the premises, having jumped a fence into a nearby stockyard. According to the Sonoma Sheriff's Office, Brodov not only ignored deputy commands but also escalated the situation by smashing a pickup truck's windshield and showing aggressive behavior that suggested an imminent physical confrontation. Their report detailed, "Brodov walked aggressively towards deputies and pounded his fist against his other hand, which typically indicates getting ready to fight." Faced with his noncompliance, a deputy deployed a Taser to subdue him, facilitating an arrest without further incident.

Further inspection revealed damage to the barn where Brodov's early morning escapades began. The destruction left behind amounted to charges of felony vandalism and burglary. The misdemeanor of resisting arrest was added to his rap sheet when he decided not to heed law enforcement's commands. Brodov's actions landed him in the Sonoma County jail, but he wasn't there for long – he secured release after posting a $50,000 bail.
