Cambridge Police Department officers were also on-site, handling traffic and ensuring the safety of pedestrians in the vicinity, the fire was put out without any injuries reported.

No injuries have been reported in the wake of the fire, and while the cause remains under investigation, the Cambridge Emergency Communications staff has been commended for their handling of the situation. Especially given the number of other incidents they were dealing with simultaneously on that Tuesday night.
