Ramsey County voters eager to participate in the upcoming Aug. 13 state primary have the option to cast their ballots ahead of Election Day at three different locations, regardless of their home address. This early voting initiative seeks to provide flexibility and accessibility to the electorate. According to the Ramsey County official website, opportunities to vote in person will be available at the Ramsey County Elections Office starting June 28, as well as at two Ramsey County Library branches beginning July 26.
The Ramsey County Elections Office is now welcoming voters on weekdays from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., with extended hours on Saturday, Aug. 10, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., and, on Monday, Aug. 12 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Residents looking for alternate locations can head to the Ramsey County Library in Roseville or the Ramsey County Library in Shoreview. Those sites will operate between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. on weekdays, matching the Election Office's extended hours on the Saturday and Monday preceding the state primary.
Special accommodations have been announced for individuals requiring assistance with the voting process. Instructions for these provisions are prominently posted at each of the designated voting sites to ensure that all community members can participate seamlessly in the electoral process.
