The Renaissance Phoenix Glendale Hotel & Spa has completed a profound nine-month renovation, enhancing its position within the Glendale hospitality scene. The project, carrying a price tag of $29.5 million, encompassed a refresh of all the hotel's guest rooms, public areas, the fitness center, pools, conference center, and its culinary establishments. Upgrades at the Renaissance, managed and operated by Atrium Hospitality, are said to be a testament to the company's dedication to its stakeholders and patrons.

“For 16 years, the Renaissance Phoenix Glendale Hotel & Spa has served as an award-winning hospitality provider in the Phoenix metro area, consistently offering the comforts of home and exceptional guest experiences,” remarked Steve Ator, Atrium's vice president of operational strategies, as featured in an article by the Business Journal. The renovation included the addition of four new rooms—bringing the hotel's capacity to 324 rooms and suites—and introduced modern amenities such as charging stations, walk-in showers, smart TVs, and new furnishing.

A highlight of the transformation is the rebranded Desert Sage Restaurant & Bar within the hotel. Offering guests a taste of Southwestern cuisine, the eatery now has both indoor and outdoor seating options. Its proximity to prominent entertainment venues like the Desert Diamond Arena and State Farm Stadium underscores the hotel's strategic location at 9495 W. Entertainment Blvd., a step attracting event-goers seeking luxury accommodation.

To keep step with the competition posed by anticipated arrivals in the luxury hotel market, like the Vai Resort, establishments including The Wigwam have also embarked on renovations. Large-scale entertainment venue projects are underway in the West Valley, noted by a $40 million refurbishment set for the Desert Diamond Arena this summer and a new Desert Diamond Casino White Tanks in construction, reported ABC15.
