The San Diego Police Department is currently investigating a death deemed suspicious after the discovery of a male body in the Serra Mesa neighborhood. Last Saturday, authorities were alerted to the situation when a call was placed to the San Diego Police Communications Center at around 2:42 p.m. The deceased was found in the west alley of 2800 Greyling Drive, as per a statement from the San Diego Police Department.

Officers from the Eastern Division and San Diego Fire-Rescue Department staff responded promptly to the call. On their arrival, they confirmed the presence of a deceased male. Investigators, taking precautions owing to the peculiar circumstances of the death, involved the Homicide Detectives in the case.
