Authorities in Liberty County have been busy coordinating a search for two firefighters, missing since June 25 from the Hinesville area. As reported by FOX 5 Atlanta, the Hinesville Police Department has issued an alert to be on the lookout (BOLO) for Raegan Anderson and Chandler Kuhbander, both of whom are employed by the Huntsville Fire Department.
Essential details emerged when Kuhbander's vehicle was found in Savannah, while Anderson's was located in Richmond Hill. In a concerning twist, Kuhbander's family fears he may not have left willingly. They have expressed concern for his safety, emphasizing their belief in a statement obtained by 11Alive that he was taken by Anderson under dubious circumstances.
The search has extended beyond local jurisdictions. Both individuals were last known to be in the Cosby, Tennessee area and possibly heading to the Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge region. The pair are believed to be traveling in a black 2017 Ford Focus ST, distinct with a firefighter logo, and bearing the license plate number GEX655.
