The string-and-bamboo shrines that have long occupied the stretch of Haight between Masonic and Ashbury are multiplying.

You might not have noticed it at first. First it was Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin and John Lennon. Then there was Amy Winehouse. Now there's also Chet Helms, Warren Hellman, and even a dual shrine for Henry Haight and Elisha Cole. The past couple of weeks, someone's been working on a new one on the block between Clayton and Cole. Who'll be next? Any bets?
