Minnie Driver Spotted in NoPa Filming TV PilotInstagram/kristykorcz
A pilot for an NBC show based on the book and film "About a Boy" was filming in NoPa* earlier this week.

Actresses Minnie Driver and Leslie Bibb, director Jon Favreau, and actor David Walton were all seen hanging out on Broderick between McAllister and Fulton yesterday. As described by Deadline, "About A Boy follows the relationship between a bachelor man-child and the young boy who moves in next door with his kooky single mother." They've been filming in various locations throughout the city over the past few days, but seem to have saved the final shots for our neck of the woods. Marcia of Tablehopper fame got a photo of some of the the excitement on Tuesday: It looks like they're done filming, at least for now. Towards the end of the day yesterday, Favreau posted this photo with the caption, "That's a picture wrap on @driverminnie #aboutaboy." So, just the latest bit of Hollywood magic to liven up our area. *Yes, we referred to it as NoPa. You'll survive.
