The City Attorney's office has sent an invoice to Nikki Sparks, the organizer of a Lightsaber Battle, requesting she pay $5,220 for damages to Sue Bierman Park and park ranger staffing. As we reported last month, we asked SF Recreation and Parks about signs posted in the park and were told the area was closed due to damage from the event, which did not receive a permit.
