It's another jam-packed weekend around the Bay with plenty of art, entertainment and cultural events on tap for your enjoyment.

Thursday brings monthly neighborhood art walks in the Castro and the Tenderloin/Lower Polk, the opening night of SF Design Week at Pier 27 on the Embarcadero, and a pet-friendly comedy show in the Mission.

On Friday, check out the athletics on display during the SF Parkour International Jam, marvel at 3D, AR and VR art installations in the Dogpatch, or attend the kick-off of the 14th annual Queen Women of Color Film Festival in the Mission.

Start early on Saturday with a 8.5-mile historical walking tour of the city followed by music, food and drinks at the first annual Ghirardelli Square Festival, the sights and sounds of the 15th annual nude bike ride, a celebration of Indian culture in Union Square, a birthday celebration for the Tenderloin Museum and yet another art walk option in SoMa.

Tie a bow on your weekend this Sunday with the family-friendly Inner Sunset Flea Market, mix yoga with baby goats in Bayview, nosh on sushi and sake in Mission Bay, then shop until you drop at the Haight Ashbury Street Festival.

Michael Tilson Thomas leads an internationally renowned cast in Mussorgsky’s spectacular Russian opera, "Boris Godunov."

Inspired by Pushkin’s tragedy, the work follows the rise and fall of the 16th-century Tsar Boris Godunov in a story underpinned by ambition, power, and betrayal. Don’t miss this semi-staged event with original video projections, costumes, scenery, and lighting design that combine to bring Mussorgsky’s original orchestration to life.

The production features original lighting, projection, scenic and costume design conceived by the same world-class creative team that worked with MTT to produce "On The Town" in 2016 and "Peter Grimes" in 2014.

“I’m looking forward to this production, which will showcase the incredible artistry of the San Francisco Symphony, our esteemed soloists, and our remarkable design team and stage crew," said MTT.

The San Francisco Symphony (SFS) and Chorus will perform "Boris Godunov" with the Pacific Boychoir and an internationally-renowned cast on the following dates:
