Got a hankering for pizza? Hoodline crunched the numbers to find the top pizza sources in Miami Beach, using both Yelp data and our own secret sauce to produce a ranked list of where to grab a slice or a full pie.
1. Mister O1- South Beach
Topping the list is Mister O1- South Beach. Located at 1680 Michigan Ave., Suite 101, it is the highest rated pizza spot in Miami Beach, boasting 4.5 stars out of 614 reviews on Yelp. It has alternate outposts in Brickell and Wynwood.
The eatery features traditional pizzas like Margherita, pepperoni and meat lovers, as well as specialty pies like the Fabio (mozzarella, Gorgonzola blue cheese and speck) and what it calls "extraordinary" offerings, such as the Star Carlos (a star-shaped pizza with ricotta cheese, chorizo, tomatoes, avocado and jalapeño sauce). 2. Fratelli La Bufala
South Beach's Fratelli La Bufala, located at 437 Washington Ave., is another top choice, with Yelpers giving the Italian restaurant, which offers pizza and more, four stars out of 737 reviews. This establishment touts itself as Miami's first Neapolitan pizzeria and sources all of its ingredients from small towns and villages in Italy, according to the business' website.
Check out the red sauce Alla Caprese pizza (with cherry tomatoes, mozzarella and basil); the white sauce Pianura (stracchino cheese, ham and arugula); or select from numerous other pizza, pasta, calzone and appetizer options on the menu.
3. Spris
Over in South Beach, check out Spris, which has earned four stars out of 474 reviews on Yelp. The Italian eatery, which specializes in artisan pizza, is at 731 Lincoln Road. The Miami-based chain has been around for 20 years and prides itself on "high-quality ingredients and world-class chefs," per its website.
The pizzeria features a vegan pizza with napa cabbage, carrots, artichokes and black olives; the Capricciosa (ham, mushrooms, black olives, artichokes and basil); and the Toscana (chicken, spinach, mushrooms, ricotta).
