Cue the violins: music instructor Zlatanova Music Studio arrives in CambridgePhoto: Zlatanova Music Studio/Yelp

In need of some violin or viola instruction? A new business has you covered. The newcomer to Cambridge, called Zlatanova Music Studio, is located at 315 Broadway.

This instruction studio specializing in stringed instruments comes from Sofia Zlatanova, who hails from Macedonia and holds degrees from the Faculty of Music Arts in Skopje and the Boston Conservatory at Berklee. She offers lessons for children and adults, and plans to also add workshops for expecting mothers and mothers with toddlers.

For those who can't attend the studio in person, Zlatanova also offers online lessons. Her work with disabled and orphaned populations is part of the studio's mission, and she plans to offer free monthly "music playgrounds" for those who otherwise can't afford to attend.

With just one review on Yelp thus far, Zlatanova Music Studio currently has a five-star rating.

Mounir O., who was the first Yelper to review the new spot on June 8, wrote, "I've been really impressed with Sofia's exceptional ability to teach practical viola techniques with a unique style."

Interested? Stop by to welcome the new business to the neighborhood. Zlatanova Music Studio is open from 9 a.m.–7 p.m. on weekdays and 11 a.m.–7 p.m. on Saturday. (It's closed on Sunday.)
