Woodinville's Patterson Cellars brings a wine tasting room to SoDoPhoto: Mark L./Yelp

Looking for a new wine tasting room to check out? Look no further than this new arrival. Called Patterson Cellars, the fresh addition is located at 3861 First Ave. South.

This is the first Seattle location for the Woodinville-based winery, which also has two tasting rooms in its hometown and a third in Leavenworth. The Seattle outpost is housed in a modern, lofty space with outdoor seating, which the company shares with nine other Washington wineries.

Patterson's grapes are sourced from the Red Mountain and Walla Walla AVAs, and the varietal options include chardonnay, cabernet sauvignon, syrah and rose. Drinkers can sample flights of five to six wines, the cost of which is waived with a bottle purchase of $25 or more.

Patterson Cellars has just one review on Yelp, which gives it a five-star rating thus far.

Mark L., who was the first Yelper to review the new spot on July 9, wrote, "Really beautiful new tasting room in the SODO collective. Plenty of room and mostly well-thought-out. Staff on the day I went was super awesome! Looks like they have a private room that will be for rent. Solid wines throughout!"

Intrigued? Stop in to try it for yourself. Patterson Cellars is open from noon–6 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday and noon–8 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.
