Early Sunday morning chaos struck a First Hill neighborhood in Seattle when gunshots disrupted a rooftop revelry, landing one man in the hospital with serious injuries. Rapid-fire reports pierced the air in the 700 block of Spring Street, prompting an urgent scramble of police to the scene, the Seattle Police Department confirmed in a statement.

The police found a 22-year-old male in a dire state, bloodied by multiple gunshot wounds. They sprang into action, offering crucial aid while awaiting the Seattle Fire Department, who then rushed the young male to Harborview Medical Center. His condition was serious.

An investigation has peeled back the layers to reveal a rooftop party, pulsing with life as approximately 200 people danced the night away until the gunfire introduced a grim cadence. In the aftermath, the victim was discovered by building staff lying wounded in an elevator. Thankfully, no other victims surfaced in the tangled chaos of the investigation. 

The Seattle Gun Violence Unit Detectives are investigating to determine the events preceding the shooting. Yet, no suspects have surfaced.
