The ill-fated vehicle was left obstructing traffic on the 6300 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Way South, prompting a swift response from local patrol officers shortly after midnight. According to the Seattle Police Blotter, the vehicle had been reported stolen earlier, on April 21st, with no injured victims reported at the scene of the crash, the driver's whereabouts remain unknown.
The investigation took a more serious turn when officers discovered the modified handgun, complete with an extended magazine and a "switch" which could potentially enable bursts of automatic fire.
