The Future of Miami Marine Stadium

Calling all design and architecture enthusiasts: Find out what the future holds for the Miami Marine Stadium. Built in 1963 for boat races, it later became a concert venue before closing in 1992. Don Worth, a local preservationist and cofounder of the Friends of Miami Marine Stadium, will report on the city's proposed renovations.

If you're a fan of fashionable cinema, check out this wartime musical — one of the 10 highest-grossing films of 1943. It features Brazilian-Portuguese actress Carmen Miranda — sporting her signature fruit hats in song and dance numbers like "King of Swing" — Benny Goodman and more.
