A new spot to score burgers and more has debuted in the neighborhood. Located at 2202 N. Zarzamora St., the fresh arrival is called Diana's Burgers.

This spot is owned by Diana Madrid, the sister of late local burger master Chris Madrid. The restaurant, open for lunch, serves comfort food like burgers and fries. The beef patties come smothered in cheddar or American cheese. Popular toppings include bacon, onion and jalapeños.

The fresh arrival has made a good impression thus far, with a four-star rating out of 14 reviews on Yelp.

Yelper Coco L. wrote, “Good food at a good price. Really like that I live right up the street and can have a decent burger without having to travel too far from home.”

And Mallory S. added, "Diana is a staple in San Antonio. She has been serving up some of the best burgers in Texas for decades and has finally gone out on her own. We are so lucky to have her back. Great food. Great service."

Intrigued? Stop in to try it for yourself. Diana's Burgers is open from 11 a.m.–3 p.m. on Tuesday-Thursday and 11 a.m.–5 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. (It's closed on Monday and Sunday.)
