A new Tex-Mex spot has made its debut in the neighborhood. The newcomer, called Emy’z Tru-Tex-Mex, is located at 11319 West Ave.

This spot is open for breakfast and lunch. For the early birds, there's breakfast tacos, green chili pozole or chilaquiles, among other breakfast items. Lunch options include chicken flautas, enchiladas and street tacos. (See the entire menu here.)

The new addition has gotten an enthusiastic response thus far, with a five-star rating out of three reviews on Yelp.

Angel S., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on Dec. 30, wrote, "Now that is a breakfast taco! The tacos here are amazing and filling! They do it right! Homemade tortillas filled full! We also had menudo [and] to die for tres leches French toast."

And Mary S. wrote, "Had the beef puffy tacos and was not disappointed. The shells were nice and airy, not dripping in grease. Hubby has the cheese enchiladas and said they were good. Friendly staff."

Head on over to check it out: Emy’z Tru-Tex-Mex is open from 7 a.m.–3 p.m. Tuesday-Sunday. (It's closed on Monday.)
