A 20-year-old man was shot and killed early Sunday morning at Bonifacio and Mabini streets in SoMa, just south of the Yerba Buena Center.

According to the Examiner, the victim was identified by the medical examiner as Merced County resident Richard Ponce. Police said the homicide occurred at 12:47 a.m.

The San Francisco Police Department is looking for a suspect who is described as a man of unknown age driving a vehicle. No further description was released.

Police said no arrest has been made, and the case remains a pending investigation.
