Eight years after it first debuted as a pop-up in the former Amante and Pete’s space at 570 Green St., Chubby Noodle is coming full circle.

The Asian fusion eatery was previously operating at 1310 Grant Ave., but after owner Pete Mrabe closed Pete's in June, he decided to move Chubby Noodle back into its former home. (Chubby Noodle's Marina location, at 2205 Lombard St., will remain open, as will a third outpost in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.)

The move means that Chubby Noodle will have a full bar with cocktails for the first time since its pop-up days. Mrabe has also added a San Francisco-themed mural from North Beach-based artist Jeremy Fish, and some new dishes like glazed ribs, a 16-ounce ribeye, and sizzling fish.

Chubby Noodle will debut tomorrow, November 14, with a grand opening party from 6 - 10 p.m. Through November 30, it will only be open for dinner, from 5 p.m. – to 11 p.m.

Starting December 1, the restaurant will open its doors for lunch and its popular bottomless dim-sum brunch as well. Hours will be Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. -11 p.m. and weekends from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. (brunch) and 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. (dinner).

Lower Haight

The former Emanuel Coffee space in the Lower Haight closed only recently, but a new tenant has already moved in.

Tipster Al M. spotted a sign last week on the restaurant's exterior for an Alcoholic Beverage Control (ABC) transfer for “Bonilla’s Bistro."

But, according to Twitter, it is now open for business under the name, "Paula's Cafe."

The new "breakfast and brunch" eatery serves breakfast items such as huevo con chorizo and French toast, and for lunch, burgers, veggie burritos, and more. Follow them on Facebook for more info.

Cow Hollow

Al M. also alerted us to an ABC license for Luisa's Ristorante and Wine Bar in Cow Hollow.

The restaurant appears to be another venture from serial restaurateur Luisa Hanson, who has run several now-shuttered restaurants in San Francisco, such as La Vinoteca, Delaney's Bar, Duffy's — which never officially opened — and Luisa's Pizza and Pasta.

In July, Hanson opened another Luisa’s Ristorante in North Beach, in the former Burgermeister space at 759 Columbus Ave.

Hanson didn't respond to a request for comment, but we'll update this post if we learn more.
