Kitchen Wisdom: Sleep Well and Reduce Anxiety
Learn more about common kitchen herbs, and their use and cultivation as culinary ingredients and medicinal teas, in this class hosted by Community Living Campaign in the Mission. The class will focus on using herbs to help with sleep and reducing anxiety.

COVID Conversations: Where We Are with Testing and a Vaccine
Join Exploratorium scientist Jennifer Frazier, Ph.D in conversation with Dr. Margaret Hamburg, former commissioner of the Food and Drug Administration for COVID-19 Conversations. This session will focus on the latest developments in testing and vaccine development. Explore why testing is so important to helping end restrictions so people can get back to "normal," and whether vaccine development can really be accelerated.

Moonlighting SF Surprise Party

Presentation: Kristian Kabuay, Pre-Philippine Scripts
Join the SF Public Library for a brief introduction to Baybayin Calligraphy. Baybayin is an ancient Tagalog writing script dating back to the 13th century. It predates the Spanish colonization of the Philippines, and is seen as an important part of Filipino cultural history.

Apocalypse Now: An Online Conversation
On Wednesday, you will also have a chance to join California Institute of Integral Studies faculty Zara Zimbardo, along with narrative strategist and climate activist Patrick Reinsborough, for a conversation exploring how we think about “the end” and what apocalyptic narratives can tell us about new beginnings.
The two will describe versions of the end of the world that get re-played on heavy rotation, and the uncanny relationship between apocalyptic fiction and non-fiction realities. In this context, they explore how the collective nightmare of the COVID-19 pandemic has expanded the dreaming boundaries of what is considered imaginable, possible, and doable.
