Assemblymember Matt Haney's bill allowing Amsterdam-style cannabis cafes in California was recently approved by the state Assembly with a significant majority. However, San Francisco might not see many of these cafes due to a potential moratorium on new pot dispensaries introduced by Supervisor Ahsha Safai. Haney's bill aims to create more economic opportunities for dispensaries and the cannabis industry while enhancing the experience of consuming legal cannabis.
