On Saturday morning, canine athletes and their humans braved the chilly waters of Linda Mar Beach in Pacifica to compete in the World Dog Surfing Championships. As always, the annual summer contest was more friendly than cutthroat. And attracted a large crowd of spectators stoked to cheer on the intrepid four-legged surfers as they battled the choppy waves.
