Hannoush Jewelers cut the ribbon for its new store in Springfield, across from Eastfield Mall, which recently closed its doors. After being a staple in the shopping complex for over 30 years, the Hannoush clan set their sights directly across the street and landed in what was once the M&T Bank building, MassLive reported.

Hannoush flung open its new doors to a throng of patrons, both loyal and new, beckoned by more than just the promise of jewelry. Hannoush, a community cornerstone, celebrated Wednesday's grand opening as part of the festivities, including a contribution to the Ronald McDonald House of Springfield, noted MassLive.

In a statement obtained by MassLive, CEO Maroun Hannoush confirmed that the familiar faces from the Eastfield Mall, staff who have become friends to many customers, will continue to offer their sterling service in the new setting. This continuity is a gleaming testament to the family's commitment to their clientele and staff alike.

"It's wonderful ... for us," Norman Hannoush, who procured the former bank across from the mall, told MassLive. "Customers come in to see us. We’re a destination."
