Yesterday, November 12, a 19-year-old woman suffered injuries during an armed robbery on North Lake Shore Drive. Chicago Police Department states there was a known male accomplice, joined by three female offenders, in the vehicle with the victim.

A dispute soon materialized in the vehicle, with the female criminals assaulting the victim. The situation intensified when the male perpetrator brandished a firearm, forcing the victim to surrender her belongings. Afterward, the criminals fled the crime scene with a range of directions unknown.

Subsequent to the incident, the victim sustained minor injuries and was taken to Illinois Masonic Hospital, where she is reported to be in stable condition. At present, the offenders remain at large. Area Three Detectives are handling the investigation.
