Revelers who want to end the year with a bang can find their spot along the waterfront to watch the extravagant display. According to a public announcement from San Francisco Port's website, the best views will be around the Ferry Building and the Embarcadero Promenade.

With an expected large turnout, attendees must arrive early to claim their space. Parking is limited, the Public Safety Departments encourage rather than take public transit. "Dress warm - the weather on the waterfront can quickly turn windy and cold. Layers are recommended," says the San Francisco Port’s notice. As for those sensitive to noise, earplugs may be a good idea, and pet owners are suggested to leave their dogs at home to avoid distress caused by the loud fireworks.

The illuminated sky will dance to the New Year at midnight, with a show poised to dazzle for about 15 minutes over the Bay. Media wishing to cover the event won't have a specific area set aside but are encouraged to gather along the Embarcadero. Facilities, including Port-a-Potties, will be positioned for the convenience of attendees. The San Francisco Fire Department's post also reminds the public about the illegality of personal fireworks, stressing the importance of safety and fire prevention. "Enjoy the incredible public fireworks show anywhere along the eastern side of San Francisco by the waterfront," mentioned in the post on their official X account.
