According to a report released by 3Fun, a dating app catered towards "sexually free singles," Texas cities are making their mark on the map for openness in threesomes and open relationships. Dallas has landed itself in sixth place nationally, with Houston not just edging it out, but securing a third-place berth as the top Texan city on the list. San Antonio also cut, snagging the seventh spot, as per FOX 4 News. 

While Dallas may be known for its sports business acumen, as it is the number one sports business city in the U.S., it appears the city's residents are engaging in more than just competitive sports. A curious finding by 3Fun places Dallas above other Texan metropolises in terms of seeking joint romantic escapades. This is despite Houston's higher ranking, which may seem to ironically suggest that Dallas' reputation for open relationships could be underreported.

However, Texas wasn't the only state basking in the limelight. Miami, according to 3Fun, has seen a spike in activity within its community of open relationships, making it the fastest-growing city on the 3Fun user base. With over 1 million users in the US, including 300,000 couples, the app has now reached a global active user count of 3 million. "This data underscores the growing acceptance and normalization of diverse relationship structures across major U.S. cities," remarked Max Ma, Founder and CEO of 3Fun, per Business Wire.

Ma's comments highlight an evolving social fabric where traditional relationship paradigms are being explored beyond the usual boundaries.
