In the quiet suburban streets of Daly City, a shooting incident disrupted the peace last December, resulting in a victim fighting for their life. Daly City Police Department reported that on December 20, 2023, officers were called to Schwerin Street and MacDonald Avenue after reports of gunfire rang out at around 4:30 pm. The victim, discovered with multiple gunshot wounds, received immediate aid from responding officers before being rushed to a trauma center where they ultimately managed to survive the ordeal.

The subsequent investigation, led by detectives, quickly moved to identify and locate the alleged perpetrators. The suspects—residents of Daly City and San Francisco—were eventually apprehended following a strategic police operation. According to details released on Facebook by the Daly City Police, it was on January 11, that law enforcement executed search warrants at three different locations, bridging the two cities, to make the arrests.

During the searches, officers discovered two firearms alongside evidence directly tied to the reported shooting. The severity of the crime is reflected in the heavy charges brought against the individuals in custody—attempted murder, felony assault, and additional firearm-related offenses.
