Police are on the hunt for a pair of burglars who broke into an unoccupied home in Northwest Washington, making off with stolen goods, authorities said. The burglary occurred in broad daylight on April 13, at around 2:26 p.m. on the 1400 block of Madison Street, as per the Metropolitan Police Department.

The incident came to light after a victim reported the intrusion to the police, detailing how their property had been ransacked while nobody was at home—a brazen act that saw the perpetrators flee with an undisclosed haul of items.

Authorities from the MPD's Fourth District have since issued a plea to the local community for assistance in identifying the two suspects involved in the burglary. However, as of now, descriptions of the suspects or the nature of the stolen property have not been released by the MPD.
