In the middle of the daytime bustle, around 11:15 a.m. on April 5, a suspect targeted a bank customer withdrawing funds in a swift and shocking snatch-and-run heist on MacArthur Boulevard.

According to the Metropolitan Police Department's release, the unwanted visitor made a bold move, reaching for the victim's cash inside the 5200 block bank before making their escape, the incident left bystanders and bank staff rattled but unharmed. The police have released video footage hoping the public might help bring the perpetrator to justice.
