Armed thieves hit a North Fair Oaks business in the early hours of Friday morning, prompting an investigation by the San Mateo County Sheriff's Office. Deputies were called to the scene at about 2:15 a.m. on El Camino Real, where they learned that two individuals had robbed the establishment at gunpoint.

According to a Facebook post by the San Mateo County Sheriff's Office, the suspects, who were confronted by two victims inside the business, managed to escape on foot with stolen items. While wielding what were believed to be firearms, no injuries were reported from the victims.
